Our client, a leading firm specialising in Clinical Negligence, are seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their esteemed Clinical Negligence team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work on a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to the ongoing success of the firm.
The role:
Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims under the supervision of senior solicitors.
Conduct thorough investigations into medical malpractice cases, including obtaining and reviewing medical records, instructing experts, and drafting witness statements.
Provide clear and compassionate legal advice to clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
Prepare legal documents, including letters of claim, pleadings, and court bundles.
Attend court hearings, case management conferences, and settlement meetings.
Liaise with medical experts, barristers, and other third parties to progress cases efficiently.
Maintain accurate and up -to -date records on the firm’s case management system.
Contribute to the firm’s business development activities, including writing articles and attending networking events.
Requirements
Qualified solicitor with a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree).
Completed a training contract with significant exposure to clinical negligence or personal injury law.
Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate approach to client care.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high -quality work.
Proficient in using legal research tools and case management software.
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in a dedicated clinical negligence department.
