Job Description - Clinical Trial Manager

Clinical Trial Manager

Nottingham | Full -time | £45,000–£50,000

Neupulse is developing a pioneering neurotechnology device
designed to improve quality of life for people living with brain health conditions.

The company is entering an important period of clinical
research, evidence generation and product development, and is now looking for a
Clinical Trial Manager to take dedicated ownership of trial planning,
setup, delivery and close -out.

Clinical trials have been led closely by the founding team
to date. As the company grows, this role will provide the dedicated trial
management capability needed to support a broader programme of studies over
time.

This is a role for someone who wants genuine ownership
across the full clinical trial lifecycle — from study design and approvals
through to delivery, close -out and reporting.

Why this role is different

This is not a narrow coordination role, and it is not a role
where clinical research sits at the edge of the business.

At Neupulse, clinical evidence is central to the future of
the company. You will work closely with the Chief Research Officer to deliver
high -quality studies that support future product claims and regulatory approvals.

You will be joining at the point where the company is ready
to move from founder -led trial delivery to a dedicated clinical trial
management function. That means taking ownership of trials that matter, while
helping strengthen the systems, processes and team capability needed to deliver
repeated, high -quality studies over time.

What you’ll be doing

You will lead clinical trials from setup through to
close -out, including:

  • Designing
    and setting up clinical trials

  • Preparing
protocols, SOPs, consent materials, CRFs and trial documentation

  • Managing
NHS REC, HRA, MHRA and IRAS submissions

  • Establishing
trial systems, including TMF, data capture, monitoring and quality
    processes

  • Recruiting,
training and managing clinical trial research staff

  • Coordinating
with investigators, CROs, universities and external partners

  • Overseeing
participant recruitment, consent and follow -up

  • Managing
risks, issues, deviations and corrective actions

  • Supporting
data analysis, study reports, publications and funder reports

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who has already managed clinical
trials with a high degree of ownership.

You will need:

  • Experience
independently designing and delivering clinical trials

  • Strong
knowledge of GCP, NHS REC, HRA and MHRA requirements

  • Experience
preparing protocols, regulatory submissions and trial documentation

  • Experience
submitting and managing NHS ethics and MHRA applications

  • Strong
project management, organisation and prioritisation skills

  • Experience
training or managing research / clinical staff

  • Good
judgement, attention to detail and confidence making decisions

The role is intended to be senior and autonomous, with
responsibility for independently designing, setting up and delivering trials
that meet GCP, NHS REC and MHRA requirements.

Experience in medical device, digital health,
neurotechnology, neuroscience, NHS research, university -led research or
CRO -supported studies
would be especially relevant.

Why join Neupulse?

This is an opportunity to join a medical technology company
at a stage where clinical trials will play a central role in its development.

You will be working alongside an experienced founding and
research team, while taking dedicated ownership of the trial management
capability needed for the next phase.

For the right Clinical Trial Manager, this is a rare
opportunity to do the full job: shape studies, secure approvals, manage
delivery, lead the team, and help turn clinical research into evidence that
matters.

Salary and location

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on
experience

Hours: Full -time, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid role - Nottingham NG7, with regular work and
participant testing at the Sir Colin Campbell Building, Jubilee Campus,
University of Nottingham
