Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - AWS/Azure/GCP - Canary Wharf/London - Hybrid - To £75,000 (DOE)

Global client has opportunities for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure / services and releases of new technologies. You will be experienced in the design, deployment and management of cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP and workflows together with 3rd party partners be responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration and operation and maintenance of hardware / software and related infrastructure, implement and manage cloud-native architectures, microservices and serverless applications, implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools (e.g., Manage Engine, OneLogin) to streamline provisioning and management of cloud resources.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will have proven experience as a cloud engineer, solutions architect or similar role with hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS, or GCP with a solid understanding of networking concepts including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets combined with a strong understanding of cloud concepts, architectures including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, have experience with containerization technologies (ie,Docker) and container orchestration platforms ie Kubernetes) in cloud environments.

You will have knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption mechanisms, regulatory compliance requirements in financial services (SEC, GDPR), a solid understanding of LAN/WAN and managing large scale Citrix/Terminal Server installations, be proficient in scripting and automation using languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash), experience

with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, be familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD or CircleCI) with the ability to monitor, optimise and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance and security utilizing

monitoring tools and frameworks, network security and compliance (ie,GDPR, SEC).
