An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced CMM Inspector to join a successful precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to demanding industries.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector looking to join a modern manufacturing environment where accuracy, attention to detail and technical ability are highly valued.

CMM Inspector - The Role

Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
Operating CMM equipment to inspect precision-engineered components
Programming and editing CMM inspection routines where required
Using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges and height gauges
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T requirements
Completing inspection reports and quality documentation
Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issuesCMM Inspector - What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a CMM Inspector / Quality Inspector within precision engineering
Experience using CMM machines and inspection software
Knowledge of Mitutoyo, Aberlink, Renishaw or PC-DMIS systems is advantageous
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspectionCMM Inspector - What's on Offer
