Job Description: As a CMM Operator / Inspector, you will programme and operate coordinate measuring machines to ensure components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

Programming and operating CMM machines using MCOSMOS software
*
Inspecting components against engineering drawings and specifications
*
Checking dimensional and geometric tolerances and surface finishes
*
Using micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
*
Working with colleagues to maintain product quality
*
Sharing your knowledge and helping train others
Skills & experience: To succeed as a CMM Operator / Inspector, you will need:

Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
*
Experience using MCOSMOS software
*
A background in CNC machining or industrial engineering
*
An understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances and surface finishes
*
Confidence using precision measuring equipment
*
A positive, practical approach and strong teamwork skills
*
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime
*
A willingness to support and train colleagues
