• Location: West Sussex, commutable from the Worthing, Littlehampton, Chichester and Bognor areas

Company Overview - CNC Grinder

We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Grinder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC grinding machines to produce high-quality rubber components while ensuring precision and meeting all technical specifications.

CNC Grinder Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC grinding machines to manufacture precision rubber components.
• Set up and run centreless grinders for accurate grinding applications.
• Perform additional machining tasks using manual lathes as required.Carry out in-process inspections using hand tools to ensure work meets required standards.
• Use measuring instruments like micrometers to verify accuracy and tolerances.
• Maintain and monitor grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with health and safety regulations.
• Work with the production team to resolve any machining issues that arise.

CNC Grinder Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working with machinery and hand tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Good basic maths skills for accurate measurement and dimension calculations.
• Familiarity with grinding tooling techniques.
• Ability to effectively read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• A proactive approach to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.
• Previous experience within the grinding subcontract industry is preferred.
