Salary: £16.00 per hour DOE
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:00pm | Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Overtime: Regular overtime available

We're working with a well-established manufacturer that produces bespoke metal products for the Retail and Office Furniture sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to their production team in Knowsley.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work.

The Role

As a Laser Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running laser cutting machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently and components are manufactured to specification.

Your duties will include:

Setting and operating laser cutting machines
Interpreting technical drawings and production paperwork
Ensuring materials are correctly loaded and processed
Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings when required
Checking finished parts for accuracy and quality
Reporting any faults or production issues promptly
Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives across the workshop
Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Previous experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery
Confidence reading and working from technical drawings
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
