CNC Laser Machine Operator

My client, based in Harlow, is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator. You will be hard working and have great attention to detail. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic are crucial.

You will be required to operate the CNC Laser Machine to begin the production process so previous experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Operating, setting and programming CNC laser machine.
• Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
• Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances.
• Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks such as visual checks or taking measurements.
• Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Laser Machine Operator.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible team player but also able to work on own initiative.
