CNC Machine Operative

Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to join their growing team.  

Responsibilities as a CNC Machine Operative:

Setting and operating of two different CNC Machines, predominately lathes 

Inspection of own work to ensure it meets quality standards

Reading technical drawings 

Using lathes, mills, drills and gear hobbing machines

De-burring

Manual Turning/ milling

Requirements:

Experience in setting and operating CNC Machines

TIG welding experience is advantageous

Hard working and reliable

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a small manufacturing team. 

The CNC Machine Operative Role:

Based in Alton 

Monday – Thursday, 7am - 5.30pm

£14 - £15 per hour depending on experience

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
