CNC Machine Operator

Due to continued growth and new project demand, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in both milling and turning to join our client dynamic team based in Basildon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.

• Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges).

• Carry out routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean working environment.

• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating CNC milling and turning machines (minimum 2 years preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak controls is an advantage.
