Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Kettering Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday Week 2 Monday to Thursday 1400-Midnight Salary up to £32,000 per annum
My Kettering - based client is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Position Summary:
As an experience CNC Machine Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
Programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts, using FANUC Controls Performing tool changes and program modifications when required. Meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality standards Maintaining and developing processes with tight machining tolerances to deliver components that meet required specifications Utilising advanced machinery control systems Interpreting and understanding complex engineering drawings Assisting in production planning to optimise workflow and resource utilisation Addressing day-to-day machining issues promptly and effectively Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and legislative controls. Providing supervision, training, and development opportunities for team members. Collaborating closely with factory managers to drive operational excellence.
The Ideal Candidate:
My client is looking for someone who brings the following skills:
Extensive experience in CNC machining, with a minimum of 6 years in the field. A track record of consistent employment history, demonstrating reliability and dedication. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Strong knowledge of CNC control systems including FANUC controls The ability to work effectively within a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability. Excellent organisational skills, always maintaining a tidy and safe workspace. Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management A desire to manage a team or previous experience in management would be advantageous
