CNC Machinist

A CNC Machinist is required for a manufacturing company based in the Brownhills area of Walsall.

You will be setting and operating their multi-axis CNC millers and vertical machining centres, primarily using Heidenhain controls, with some Fanuc experience also being beneficial. They are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with experience setting on any kind of millers or VMCs, not just specifically the machines they use here.

You will be responsible for -

• Setting / operating millers and vertical machining centres
• Working with Heidenhain controls
• Daily / weekly machine maintenance tasks
• Quality inspection using micrometres, verniers, etc.
• Operating overhead cranes to load / unload

The role is working days -

• 7:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Thurs / 6:00am - 11:00am on Fridays
• Paying £16.50 per hour

This CNC Machinist role is a temp-to-perm position with a probationary period through the agency. They are looking for permanent members of staff for the long term.
