Shorterm Group is working with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Wolverhampton to recruit experienced CNC Machinists for permanent positions supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team working on high-spec, precision components for some of the most advanced aircraft systems in the world.

?? Location: Wolverhampton (onsite)
?? Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
?? Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:15, Fri 07:30-11:30 (37 hrs/week)
?? Salary: Competitive, DOE + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a range of CNC machines (mill/turn, multi-axis - Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma, etc.)
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by machining first-off components to tight aerospace tolerances
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to develop and refine machining processes
- Perform inspections and complete relevant documentation
- Work to strict aerospace quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship
- 5+ years' experience in CNC machining
- Aerospace/precision manufacturing background preferred
- Excellent knowledge of tooling, machining techniques, and inspection methods
- Quality-driven, proactive mindset with attention to detail
