About the Role

A leading manufacturer of precision-engineered products is seeking a skilled and adaptable General Machinist to join their team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established company known for its high-quality standards and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce precision components.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Perform surface grinding and turning operations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to meet production targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical knowledge and machining experience (required).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with surface grinding and turning (preferred).
• CNC experience is a plus – training will be provided if needed.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
