My client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers within its field of premium glass process engineering and associated products supplying into a wide variety of industries. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia, and America. The Rotherham site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained in Mechanical Engineering/CNC Machining
• Ability to operate CNC Machinery (manually and computer controlled)
• Online Programming & Editing on Fanuc & XYZ Systems

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day tool room machining and turning activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several mechanical areas within a heavy machinery environment. The ideal candidate will come from a tool room machining background, with CAD/CAM systems and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical/tool room bias. You will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
