CNC machinist

CNC machinist required at a location in Avonmouth, BS11

• £27,560 per annum
• Working hours 37.5 hours per week
• Monday Friday 6am-2pm week 1
• Monday Wednesday 2pm-12pm, Thursdays 2pm-11.30pm week 2 Fridays off!
• Salary breakdown is £13.33 per hour basic plus £15 per day shift premium for afternoon shift

About the role

• Operating Eumach, Hartford and Haas CNC machines
• Verifies parts are within customer required tolerances, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments
• Performs daily maintenance checks on CNC machines
• Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required
• Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day
• Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area

The right candidate

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of a production facility and manufacturing processes
• Comfortable with manual lifting up to 20kgs
• Able to communicate with individuals at all levels
• Basic mathematical skills
