We’re speaking with skilled CNC machinists for an established engineering manufacturer near Pulborough, producing specialist components for demanding technical applications.

The machine shop has recently grown its team and is interested in hearing from experienced machinists who could bring something extra. For the right person, there is scope to discuss a permanent opportunity.

The opportunity

You’ll bring your machining knowledge to a team where accuracy, practical problem solving and quality matter.

Depending on your experience, your work could include:

Setting and operating CNC machinery.

Working with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls.

Interpreting engineering drawings and machining requirements.

Selecting tooling and making adjustments to achieve the required finish and dimensions.

Inspecting components using appropriate measuring equipment.

Resolving machining issues and helping improve processes.

Working safely and supporting colleagues across the machine shop.

Your background

We’d particularly like to hear from people with:

Strong CNC machining experience.

Experience with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls.

Confidence setting machines and making tooling or offset adjustments.

The ability to read engineering drawings and work to specified tolerances.

A careful approach to inspection and component quality.

A reliable, practical attitude and the ability to work independently.

Programming experience would be particularly useful. Please make clear whether your background is in CNC milling, turning or both, and which machines and controls you’ve used.
