£42750-£44452 (inclusive of shift pay) plus bonus, life assurance

37.5 hours/week, Double Day Shifts, Mon-Fri. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm. 6am-11.30am and 11.30am-5.00pm on Friday

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer with experience or aptitude to lead a small team, looking for a challenging and varied permanent position?

The role is working for a medical device manufacturer, so its a very clean precision manufacturing environment working double day shift Mon-Fri , with short hours on a Friday.

This position will be split between team leading and hands on CNC work.

The Role

1. Full time permanent position within medical device manufacturing

2. Leading a small team of 5, including appraisal, allocating jobs etc.

3. Hands on work will be setting, operating and programming CNC machinery; working on metals, to within +/- 0.1mm, working on Citizen sliding heads, lathes, 3 and 5 axis machines using Fanuc and Heidehain controls.

The Person

1. Working experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment

2. Working experience of CNC setting, operating and programming ideally on 3/5 axis machines

3. Experience/aptitude to lead a team

4. Experience using micrometers and verniers
