We have opportunities in either Turning, Milling OR Grinding

We are recruiting on behalf of a Global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed machinery to recruit CNC machinists to produce engineering components.

The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC machines (ideally having some knowledge of programming) and will be able to manufacture small batch complex components working to tight tolerances. Experience working with Mazak or Fanuc controls is an advantage but is not essential.

On offer is a competitive salary plus a substantial shift premium

Shifts available:

* Double Days - rotating weekly £34,717 basic + 21.25% shift allowance - £42,441

* Triple Shift - days & nights - £34,717 basic + 39.58% shift allowance - £48,457

* Continental Shift £34,717 basic + 55% shift allowance - £53,811 - 4 on 4 off - 2 days 2 nights 7:00 - 7:00

You'll be an Apprentice trained engineer (NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification minimum) within Turning, Grinding or Milling fields and hold experience in a CNC machining role producing small batch complex components, have a good eye for detail and quality and good knowledge of engineering principles. You'll be able to work to tight tolerances across a range of materials including steel, cast iron, aluminum and bronze.
