Cnc Miller

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering manufacturer producing high-quality components for a variety of industries.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CNC Operator, CNC Miller or CNC Machinist with experience operating CNC milling machines within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC milling machines

* Produce precision components to tight tolerances

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Perform quality inspections using callipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment

* Make routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

* Complete production work safely and efficiently

* Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety

Required Experience

* Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Operator or CNC Machinist

* Experience operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Experience producing components to tight tolerances

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Confident using precision measuring equipment

Desirable Experience

* Experience using Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls

* Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Knowledge of precision engineering processes
