Position: CNC Miller
Machines: Fanuc, Daytron & Mazak
Pay: £17.92 per hour + shift allowance after 6 months
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy manufacturing environment in the YO26 area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and maintaining a high standard of accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
First 6 Months
* Monday to Thursday
* 7:00am – 5:30pm
* £16-£18 per hour
* Training and integration into the business
After 6 Months
Following the initial 6-month period, you will move onto one of the following shift patterns:
Option 1 – 4 on / 4 off Days
* Day shift
* £17.92 per hour
* £35 shift allowance
Option 2 – Monday to Thursday Nights
* Night shift
* £17.92 per hour
* £50 shift allowance
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and setting CNC milling machines
* Working with Fanuc, Daytron and Mazak machinery
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Producing components to tight tolerances
* Carrying out quality checks and measurements
* Tool changes and machine adjustments
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Meeting production and quality targets
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller
* Experience with CNC milling machinery
* Ideally experienced with Fanuc, Daytron and/or Mazak controls
* Able to read engineering drawings
* Good understanding of machining tolerances
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and able to work as part of a team
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller looking for a long-term position with a structured shift pattern and additional shift allowances
