CNC Miller (Nights)

We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Miller (NIGHTSHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain conrols.

* Editing and proving out CNC programs when required.

* Working from detailed engineering drawings.

* Selecting tooling and setting machine offsets.

* Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

* Conducting first-off and in-process inspections.

* Using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.

* Working efficiently to meet production schedules.

Requirements

* Previous CNC milling experience.

* Experience setting and operating CNC machining centres.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong inspection and measurement skills.

* Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls advantageous.

* Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift.
