Are you an experienced Miller looking for your next challenge? We are working with a respected precision engineering manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, supplying components to a range of high-profile industries.

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision engineers components to customer specifications.

Key responsibilities:

Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
Producing high precision components on 3,4 and 5-axis machining centres
Editing and optimizing CNC programs where required
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Machining a wide range of materials to tight tolerances
Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment
Working closely with production and quality teams to maintain standards
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient production processes
About you:

Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Simens controls
Experience machining precision components within industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas or similar
Ability to read technical engineering drawings confidently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
