CNC Miller setter operator

Shorterm Group are currently working with an international aerospace component manufacturing company who are looking to employ multiple CNC Miller setter operators for their site based in Wolverhampton on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Role duties:
Set and operate Milling and Mill/turn machines
Read engineering drawings
Complete first off inspections

Machines:
Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura and Puma

Requirements:
Ability to competently set and operate the above machines
Ability to perform first off inspections with manual inspection tools.
Work to tight tolerances reading from engineering drawings.
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification e.g. HNC or NVQ level 3 in engineering/manufacturing/machining

Role details:
Shift: 37 hrs per week Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm and Friday 7:30am to 11:30am.
Location: Wolverhampton
12 Month fixed term contract
