CNC Mill/Turner - Aerospace Manufacturing Location: Onsite - Wolverhampton, UK Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Standard day shift, with potential to move to double-day shifts in future. Overtime available as required.
I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a skilled CNC Mill/Turner to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing team based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly engineered, precision-focused environment on bespoke, flight-critical components.
The successful candidate will be apprentice-trained, experienced in CNC machining (Mill/Turn), and confident in setting up, operating, and inspecting high-tolerance components using various CNC machine types and inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities *Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines and processes *Perform first-off inspections and complete all associated quality documentation *Independently carry out machine set-up and tooling adjustments *Use precision measuring tools to verify component dimensions to aerospace standards *Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all machining tasks *Collaborate with engineering and inspection teams to ensure parts meet strict tolerance requirements
Key Experience & Skills *Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification *Extensive experience (5+ years) working with CNC mill/turn machines such as Okuma, Mazak, Lathe, DMG, Matsura, or Puma *Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and multi-axis operations *Confident in using micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools to achieve tight tolerances *Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and work independently to machining requirements *Previous experience in aerospace or a similar high-precision industry is highly desirable *Quality-conscious with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
Additional Information *Day shift role, with potential transition to a double-day shift pattern in the future *Overtime available when required *Candidates must be self-certified and will be expected to hold a quality stamp after a qualifying period
Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required for this role. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.
