Lead from the Front in a Hands-On Supervisory Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Setter Supervisor to join a successful manufacturing business in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled press brake professional to take ownership of a small team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production.

You'll be responsible for leading a team of three operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and continuous improvement remains at the heart of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
Supervise, support, and motivate a team of 3 operatives
Monitor production performance and quality standards
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
Train, mentor, and develop team members
Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

What We're Looking For

Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
Previous supervisory, team leader, or mentoring experience would be ideal, but someone wanting to take to next step in their career would be welcomed and assisted in their progress.
Strong understanding of fabrication and sheet metal processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong communication and leadership skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Working Hours

Rotating Weekly Shifts:

Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm
