Hours: Mon-Thu - 8am-5pm, Fri - 8am-1pm

Muffett Engineering Solutions are the leading UK supplier of bespoke gears and precision-made engineering products to a range of industries, including aerospace, medical, industrial and food sectors.

About the role:

At Muffett Engineering Solutions, you will become part of a team working in an established precision engineering company. We're looking for a Skilled Mechanical Engineer, to have been Apprentice trained to set and operate a range of modern CNC Machines for turning, milling, grinding and gear cutting sections.

About you:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials, including metals and exotic alloys
• Experience with offline programming, particularly using SolidCam, is highly advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
