Job Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £17.81 - £18.88 per hour / £659.13 - £698.68 per week / £34,275 - £36,331.50 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer / Setter for a renowned and well-established Aerospace manufacturer on a permanent basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the company have developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of aerospace components and parts.

As a CNC Programmer / Setter you will be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations. The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines;

* Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes

* Undertaking other machining as required such as manual turning, milling and grinding

* Deburring of machined parts

For the CNC Programmer / Setter role, the successful candidate will possess;

* Previous experience in CNC Machining

* Experience of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes

* Experience in high precision environments

* Sliding head experience would be highly desirable
