CNC programmer

A well-established precision engineering company is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role on the late shift, ideal for someone with a strong background in low-volume, high-precision manufacturing.

• Program, set, and operate 2-axis CNC lathes
• Write and edit programs at the machine using Manual Guide i and G-code
• Perform full machine setups including tooling, speeds, and feeds
• Conduct in-process inspections using standard measuring equipment
• Manufacture one-off and small batch components in various metals
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply geometric tolerances
• Work with components up to Ø300mm x 3m (lifting equipment provided)

• Time-served CNC turning experience
• Confident programming at the machine with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls (preferred)
• Strong understanding of machining principles and quality standards
• Previous experience in a machine shop environment
