Cnc Programmer

We are currently recruiting for a CNC/CAM Programmer for a Manufacturer of Aerospace Components based in Pershore, WR10

This is a days-based position, working Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, offering an hourly rate of £19.00 - £21.00, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working on your own initiative.

* Programming in SolidCAM, setting up, and operating jobs.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Strong knowledge and practical experience with Heidenhain/Mazak controls.

* Ensuring production goals are achieved in terms of quality and efficiency.

* Optimising tooling and machining strategies to improve cycle times and quality.

* Communicating with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow and resolve any issues.
