Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

An established engineering and manufacturing business based in Kingswinford is looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer to join their team.

The company specialises in Toolmaking, CNC machining and Injection Moulding, supplying precision components and tooling within a modern and well-maintained manufacturing environment.

THE ROLE

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components.

The role offers a varied workload and the opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment within a clean, professional and fairly relaxed environment.

Duties will include:

Setting and operating Hurco Milling Machines and 5-Axis Hurco Milling Machine

*

Programming CNC machines with NCG CAM software (training given) to produce precision components

*

Working from engineering drawings and specifications

*

Producing tooling and precision components to tight tolerances

*

Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

*

Making adjustments to programmes and machine settings where required

*

Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health and safety

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will have:

*

Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer (Ideally with Hurco machines, but training can be given if not)

*

Experience programming CNC machinery (Ideally with NCG Cam but trianing can be given if not)

*

Strong understanding of CNC machining processes

*

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Good understanding of tooling, cutting and machining processes

*

Excellent attention to detail

*

A strong focus on quality and precision

*

A proactive approach and pride in your work

THE HOURS

37 hours per week.

Working hours are flexible within the following parameters:

*

Latest start time: 8:00am

*

Earliest finish time: 4:00pm

*

Friday finish: 12:30pm
