CNC Programmer/Setter and Operator

Our client, an established component and parts manufacturing company, is currently recruiting CNC Programmer/Setter and Operator to join their manufacturing team. The CNC Programmer/Setter and Operator will be responsible for the set up, programming, and operation of CNC 4 axis horizontal or 5 axis milling machines to produce high-precision components

Key Responsibilities for the CNC Programmer/Setter and Operator:

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their optimal functioning.
• Inspect finished products to meet the required quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime

Skills Required for the CNC Programmer/Setter and Operator:

• Proven experience in CNC machining, specifically with 4 axis horizontal or 5 axis Milling machines as time-served engineer or with relevant technical qualifications.
• Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components.
• Proficiency in machine programming and operation.
• Strong communication skills
