Night Shift CNC Punch operator / Forklift Driver – Temp to Perm

Location: Haverhill

Salary: £12.75 - £13.50 per hour plus 20% shift allowance on all hours worked

Hours: Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30pm - 7:00am

Training Period: Initial 1-2 months on day shift for training purposes

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Our client is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Night Shift CNC Punch operator / Forklift Driver to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous CNC Punch, warehouse or manufacturing experience who is looking to secure a permanent position within a well-established business.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, supporting daily operational activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency. A current Forklift Licence is highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

* CNC Punch experience preferable

* Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.

* Load, unload and move materials throughout the site.

* Operate forklift trucks where authorised and required.

* Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues.

* Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised and safe.

* Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve operational objectives.

About You

* Previous experience within a CNC punch, production or warehouse environment.

* Valid Forklift Licence preferred.

* Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Flexible and adaptable to business requirements.

Desirable Skills

* Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

* Experience working permanent night shifts.

* Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Basic understanding of CNC Punch machinery.

* Experience with stock handling and material movement.
