Job Title: CNC Setter Operator

Contract: Permanent

Hourly rate: £18.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Days)

Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for an CNC Setter Operator to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the Aerospace 3industry. As the CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes.

Duties of the CNC Setter Operator:

* Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls

* Carrying out offsets & tool changes

* Altering speeds and feeds

* Running multiple lathes at any one time

* Monitoring cycle times

* Basic machine maintenance

The successful candidate for the CNC Setter Operators position will have the following experience:

* 3 – 5 years’ experience Setting & Operating Lathes (Essential)

* 3 – 5 years’ experience within Fanuc or Heidenhain controls (Essential)

* Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)

* Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)

* Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
