CNC Setter / Operator – Late Shift

Location: Byfleet, Surrey
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: £40,000 – £44,000 per annum (including shift allowance)
Holiday: 24 days + bank holidays
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent

Are you a skilled CNC Setter / Operator looking to join a growing precision engineering business that’s just expanded their shift pattern?

Syntech Recruitment is working closely with a leading precision engineering company in Byfleet, Surrey. Following a recent investment in their production capacity, they’re now looking to bring in at least two experienced machinists to join their brand-new late shift team.

CNC Setter / Operator Duties:

• Setting and operating CNC turning and/or milling machines (Mori Seiki)
  
  
• Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring component accuracy
  
  
• Performing in-process quality checks using measurement tools
  
  
• Supporting the wider team to meet output and quality targets
  
  

CNC Setter / Operator Profile:

• Proven CNC setting and operating experience (either turning, milling, or both)
  
  
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and using measurement equipment
  
  
• Experience with Mori Seiki machines is highly advantageous
  
  
• Team player with a keen eye for detail and high work standards
