CNC Setter Operator

They’re now looking to add a CNC Setter Operator to their growing team. Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision-engineered components.

• Work with Fanuc controls, making accurate adjustments and tooling changes as required.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure components meet exact specifications.

• Troubleshoot tooling/set-up issues to maintain smooth, efficient production.

• Carry out self-inspection using micrometers, verniers, and other gauges.

• Contribute to 5S and continuous improvement efforts across the machine shop.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes and mills, ideally with Fanuc control knowledge.

• A formal qualification in machining (apprenticeship or equivalent is a big plus).

• Confidence in using precision measuring equipment and checking your own work.

• A good eye for detail
