Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company, in their search for a CNC Setter Operator to be based at their head office in Ludlow.

What our client is offering for the successful CNC Setter Operator:

£30,000 P/A
Monday to Thursday 7.45 AM to 4.30 PM & Friday 7.45 AM to 12.30 PM – this will change after training to 6-2 and 2-10 rotating shift
Permanent position

The Role – CNC Setter Operator:

Setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components
Working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce parts to the required tolerances
Conducting quality inspections using precision measuring equipment
Implementing new production methods and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Carrying out preventative maintenance on CNC machinery
Supporting and assisting other CNC Operators, providing guidance and training where required
Working to production schedules whilst maintaining high quality standards
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and quality requirements
Following all company Health & Safety and housekeeping procedures
Carrying out any additional duties as required by management
What our client is looking for in a successful CNC Setter Operator:

Proven experience setting and operating 3–5 axis CNC milling machines – ESSENTIAL
Proven experience setting and operating 2–3 axis CNC turning machines – ESSENTIAL
Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls – ESSENTIAL
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – ESSENTIAL
Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment – ESSENTIAL
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality environment – BENEFICIAL
