CNC Setter Operator

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a permanant CNC Setter Operator with Turning or Milling experience to join a manufacturing company in Aston.

The duties of the CNC Setter operator will include:

Producing a high quality product by Setting and Operating CNC milling machines ensuring quality workmanship at all times
Millng and turning

Maintaining and improving productivity where possible, work in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met

Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure

Ensuring work area kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner

Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times.
The ideal CNC Setter Operator will have:

At least 3 years’ experience in CNC setting and operating plus general engineering work
Experience of milling, turning or both

Some knowledge of programming reading and an understanding of drawings & models

The ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
The hours of work for the CNC Setter Operator will be 8 hours per day - these hours are flexible

The salary for the CNC Setter Opeator will be between £35,000 - £46,000 per annum depending on experience, the hourly rate equates to between £17,.00 and £22.00
