Cnc Setter Operator

Job description:

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a Temp to Perm basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Operate CNC machinery to manufacture components to specification.

* Set up, load and operate CNC machines for production runs.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and production instructions.

* Measure and inspect finished components using a range of measuring equipment.

* Make basic machine adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy.

* Carry out routine machine maintenance and report any faults or issues.

* Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

* Maintain accurate production records where required.

* Keep the work area clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.

* Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production deadlines are met.

Additional Responsibilities

* Assist with other manufacturing or workshop duties when required.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

* Follow company procedures and safe working practices at all times.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

* Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers or gauges.

* Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Ability to identify and report production or machine issues.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

* Good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.

Working Pattern & Benefits

Either:-

* Lates: + 20% shift Allowance

* Days:

* Nights: + 33% Shift Allowance

Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Temp to Perm
