CNC Setter Operator - Lathe

Job Description

Proactive Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Lathe Setters/Operators for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Dudley.

The successful candidates will have experience setting and operating CNC lathes, including changing tooling and ensuring machines are set up correctly and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC lathes.

*

Changing tooling and carrying out machine setups.

*

Making adjustments to machine settings as required.

*

Ensuring machines run efficiently and meet production requirements.

*

Editing and amending CNC programmes where necessary, although this is not essential.

Requirements

*

Previous experience setting CNC lathes.

*

Experience changing tooling and carrying out machine setups.

*

Ability to operate CNC lathes confidently.

*

Experience editing or amending CNC programmes would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay and Benefits

*

£16–£19 per hour, depending on experience.

*

Day and night shifts available.

*

Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
