Up to £28 per hour
Overview
EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a long-established precision engineering manufacturer that is currently in the market for a CNC Machine Technician (CAM) to join their company on a permanent basis.
Our client is a long-established, AS9100-accredited aerospace machining business in South Birmingham. For more than fifty years, they have produced low-volume, complex machined parts for the aerospace aftermarket, including nozzles, jets, spools and sleeves, fuel-line components, small prismatic parts and actuation parts.
They are modernising the machine shop with new DN Solutions (Doosan) milling centres on Heidenhain controls and moving work away from legacy drawings and older machinery. This technician-level role becomes the go-to specialist for setting up jobs, proving out programs and fixing machining issues, especially on new product introduction (NPI).
