Our client, a precision engineering company, seek to appoint an experienced CNC Turner to programme set and operate a number of machines in their factory. The appointed CNC Turner will have experience in programming Fanuc / XYZ controls. On offer is a competitive salary with a great business with a growing order book and exciting product. This is a days based role with overtime available for those that would like it.

CNC Turner - Role and Responsibilities - Turning / Machining / Fanuc / XYZ / Precision Engineering

* Programming, setting and operating precision engineering machinery
* Programming, setting and operating with Fanuc / XYZ controls
* Overcome any tooling and set up problems encountered when machining component
* Adhere to Machine / Department 5S and support Quality / Business Improvement initiatives

CNC Turner - Skills and Abilities - Turning / Machining / Fanuc / XYZ / Precision Engineering

* Formal qualification in machining, with CNC bias, ideally apprentice trained
* Ability to program preferred, with experience of Fanuc / XYZ controls
* Ability to use associated measuring equipment, mics, verniers etc
* Confident with a positive and friendly attitude
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
