CNC Turner

We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading company manufacturing high precision parts for the aerospace industry. You will be part of a great team, working within a clean environment. The nature of the work is small to medium batch with medium to high complexity.

Responsibilities

Operating CNC Turning machines to produce components to customer specifications.

Working with Planning, Quality, and other teams on repeat and NPI jobs to develop manufacturing methods for the customer's designs.

Ensure accurate job timings are recorded within the Company's ERP system, and scanning on and off jobs.

Maintain 6s standards within the shop floor

Setting two-axis CNC lathes, problem solving when setting.

Basic understanding of programming with the ability to read the code.

Experience and Skill Required

Previous Aerospace experience or similar is preferred.

Competent in operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls , CMZ Turn experience would be an advantage.

Experience of working with a range of materials.

Capable of operating without supervision and can problem solve.

Preferably apprentice trained in motor sport, oil and gas, or aerospace.

Working Hours

Monday to Wednesday 3pm-1.30am, Thursday 3pm-1am

Pay Rate

Up to £21.94 per hour (including shift premium)
