Our client is a well-established precision engineering company operating across a diverse range of industries. Their work is varied and technically demanding, with a strong focus on oil & gas and military/defence sectors, alongside projects for clients across other specialist engineering markets.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to work on a variety of precision-engineered components and projects, using modern CNC machining equipment in a quality-focused environment.

What You Will Be Doing

* Operating and setting CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components.

* Working on a varied range of projects and components for clients across multiple industries.

* Manufacturing precision-engineered parts primarily for the oil & gas and military/defence sectors.

* Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality machined components.

* Ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout all machining processes.

* Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet strict quality standards.

* Working closely with the engineering team to improve processes and efficiencies.

* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Adhering to all company Health & Safety procedures and regulations.

What We Are Looking For

* Previous experience in CNC Turning, including setting and programming.

* Experience working with materials such as stainless steel, titanium and aluminium.

* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

* Experience working within a precision engineering or similar manufacturing environment.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* A proactive approach with a genuine interest in precision engineering.

* A strong focus on quality, accuracy and productivity.
