Working Hours:

* 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday

* 8:00 am – 3:30 pm Friday

We’re partnered with an established aerospace precision engineering business supplying bespoke, high-quality components to leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner – Setter / Programmer to join their skilled manufacturing team.

This is a low-volume, bespoke machining environment, offering variety and technical challenge across complex aerospace components rather than repetitive production work.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, proving and operating CNC turning machines, working from complex engineering drawings and developing effective machining strategies to produce precision components.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Programming, setting, proving and operating CNC lathes

* Working independently with Mazak and Fanuc controls

* Interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications

* Developing machining strategies and workholding solutions

* Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances

* Carrying out inprocess checks and ensuring quality standards are met

* Working closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner & Programmer

* Strong experience within a highprecision, low-volume environment

* Able to work from complex engineering drawings with minimal supervision

* Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls

* Strong programming, setting and provingout experience

* Aerospace machining experience highly advantageous

* Methodical, technically minded and quality focused
