In this role, you will be setting, operating, and programming CNC turning machines such as sliding head and fixed head lathes. You'll also carry out routine maintenance on CNC equipment and use precision measuring tools such as callipers, micrometres, and CMMs to ensure components meet the required specifications.

With a modern workshop housing over 50 advanced machines such as sliding head lathes, multi-axis turning centres, and the latest CNC technology. With an ambitious goal to triple their turnover by 2030, they are heavily investing in both cutting-edge equipment and the development of their team, making this an exciting opportunity for a CNC Turner.

This role would suit a CNC Turner looking for night shifts, opportunities to develop programming skills, and a 4-day working week while working for a forward-thinking company at the cutting edge of precision engineering, with clear paths for progression into leadership.

The Role:

• Setting, operating and programming CNC turning machines
• Carrying out routine maintenance on CNC equipment
• Using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications
• Monday to Thursday - 8pm to 6:15am
