CNC Turner — Programmer/Setter/Operator (Heidenhain) | Willenhall | Permanent | Days

An AS9100-accredited precision engineering business in Willenhall, West Midlands is looking for two skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operators to join its machining team, following continued growth. The company manufactures high-specification components for the aerospace, defence, automotive and energy sectors — precision work to demanding quality standards.

The role:

* Programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres — Heidenhain controls - Open to others i.e. Fanuc

* Proving out and editing programmes from engineering drawings

* Working to tight tolerances, right first time

* First-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment

We're looking for someone with:

* Proven CNC turning experience — programming, setting and operating

* Heidenhain an advantage; strong turners who programme on other controls and would cross-train will be considered

* Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances

* A background in precision or subcontract manufacturing

In return:

* Permanent, day shift — Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm (39 hours)

* Circa £19-£21 per hour depending on experience

* Established, AS9100-accredited business with high-quality aerospace and defence work
