The Successful CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter – Package

* £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

* 4-day working week

* Monday – Thursday: 6:45am – 5:00pm

* 8% employer pension contribution (no employee contribution required)

* Annual bonus of £4,000+

The Successful CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter – Requirements

* Experienced CNC Turner with strong Programming and Setting experience

* Confident programming and setting CNC Fixed Head Turning Centres

* Experienced using Fanuc controls

* Able to create, edit and optimise CNC programs

* Experience machining a wide range of materials including soft metals, hardened materials, exotic alloys and engineering plastics

* Background producing one-off and small batch precision components

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Good understanding of GD&T and working to tight tolerances

* Confident carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection using standard inspection equipment

* Able to work independently and manage workload effectively

* High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and housekeeping
