Hourly Rate: £21.00 per hour (39-hour basic week)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate

Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their experienced team.

Role Overview:

We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Turner with strong programming, setting, and operating experience. The ideal candidate will be fully competent in programming from scratch using Fanuc controls and be comfortable working independently to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

While the immediate need is for a Turner, candidates with additional milling experience (particularly on Heidenhain-controlled machines) are highly desirable and will be considered for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to produce complex components
• Performing quality checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborating with engineers and production team to optimise machining processes
• Carrying out minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Time-served or experienced CNC Turner with demonstrable programming experience
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc programming - ability to programme from scratch essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
• Milling experience with Heidenhain controls is a strong advantage but not essential
• Team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic

Hours & Pay:

Basic Week: 39 hours

Rate: £21.00 per hour

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate
