CNC Turner Program/Setter/Operator

CNC Turner - Welwyn Garden City - £45,000

Shorterm Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a precision engineering company based in Welwyn Garden City, seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Requirements:
Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled lathe machines

Hands-on experience with the following machines:
- Doosan Lynx 220LM
- Doosan Puma 2600Y
- Doosan Puma 2600SY

Comfortable working with a variety of materials including plastics and metals

Experience with CAM software (EdgeCAM) is highly advantageous

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Job Details:
Permanent position

Salary: £45,000 per year

Alternating day shifts:

- Early Shift: Mon-Thu 6:00am-2:30pm, Fri 6:00am-1:15pm

- Late Shift: Mon-Thu 11:00am-8:00pm, Fri 6:00am-1:15pm

25 days of annual leave
